MENTAL ILLNESS RECOGNITION METHOD USING AN N100 AMPLITUDE SLOPE CAPABLE OF PRECISELY RECOGNIZING A UNIPOLAR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER AND BIPOLAR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER

PURPOSE: A mental illness recognition method using an N100 amplitude slope is provided to suggest precise recognition examination of a unipolar depressive disorder and bipolar depressive disorder through the N100 amplitude slope difference, thereby enabling to prescribe proper treatment for the disease of patient.;CONSTITUTION: A brain wave is measured using a quick cap. An eye blinking and a trash wave are eliminated by analyzing the measured brain wave. An N100 potential value and N100 latency are measured by performing base line correction. An N100 amplitude slope is measured by applying the N100 amplitude reacting to a sound based on N100 latency to a liner regression equation. A mental illness is recognized based on the measured N100 amplitude slope.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
