PURPOSE: A cooking appliance using the smart grid is provided to enable a user to directly select a power source depending on a cooking mode to be used based on power supply information.;CONSTITUTION: A cooking appliance using the smart grid comprises a display and a control panel. The display is connected to a power supply network including a measuring device and an energy managing device. The measuring device make bi-directional communication with a power source, measures and displays power information in real time. The energy managing device is connected to the measuring device and supplies electricity with power information supplied from the outside, to home appliances.
