PURPOSE: A refrigerator equipped with a terminal and a control method thereof are provided to offer a user visual information on changes in electric energy consumption and electricity bill.;CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a display module(241), a communication unit, and a control unit. The display module displays the actual electric power consumption or electricity bill in a power use place, the standard power consumption or electricity bill offered from outside, and the result of comparison between the actual and standard values. The communication unit receives the standard power consumption or electricity bill offered from outside. The control unit is connected to the display unit and the communication unit, compares the actual values with the standard values, and controls the display module to display the data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
