PURPOSE: A reverse osmosis with inserted carbon nanotube and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the efficiency of salt elimination by maintaining the performance of the reverse osmosis regardless of the action of chlorine ions.;CONSTITUTION: A reverse osmosis includes an active layer and a support layer. Carbon nanotube is inserted into the self-assembled thin film of the active layer. The self-assembled thin film is composed of an anionic polymer electrolyte layer and a cationic polymer electrolyte layer. The support layer is composed of a porous support.
