FOLDED DIPOLE ANTENNA STRUCTURE FOR A WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING A FOLDED DIPOLE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A folded dipole antenna structure for a wireless power transmission system is provided to remove a matching circuit and a filter by blocking a secondary harmonic through a spur line applied to the antenna.;CONSTITUTION: A feeding unit(200) is expanded in a folded dipole antenna structure. The feeding unit varies the input impedance of an antenna according to the length of the feeding unit. A spur line(100) is connected to the lower side of the folded dipole structure to suppress the harmonic. A rectification circuit unit(300) converts RF power from the folded dipole antenna to DC power. The rectification circuit unit is composed of a coplanar microstrip line(330) to transmit power to a load resistor and a schottky diode(310).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
