PURPOSE: A sliding trunk door for sports utility vehicles is provided to enable users to use a trunk without the interference of an obstacle by pushing a sliding rail from bottom to top through a gas cylinder.;CONSTITUTION: A sliding trunk door(3) for sports utility vehicles comprises a sliding module and pistons(6, 6'). The sliding module is fixed between a fixing plate and a trunk door. The sliding module is installed in order to slide to the top and bottom coupled with the trunk door. The sliding module comprises rails(8, 8'), rollers(4, 4'), and gas cylinders(7, 7'). The rail is extended along the designed curvature of a fixing plate.
