PURPOSE: An alumina bonded unshaped refractory and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain the low porosity and the high strength of the refractory using alumina precursor powder.;CONSTITUTION: An alumina bonded unshaped refractory includes aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, alumina precursor powder, and water. The alumina precursor powder is ρ-alumina or boehmite. 1 to 10 parts by weight of the alumina precursor power is used based on 100 parts by weight of the aluminum oxide and the silicon carbide. 3 to 15 parts by weight of the water is used based on 100 parts by weight of the aluminum oxide and the silicon carbide.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
