PURPOSE: A sterilizing apparatus for a water purifier is provided to suppress the generation of bacteria by preventing the deposition of foreign materials or calcium compounds contained in stored water.;CONSTITUTION: A water storing container(110) includes a water storing space and a water draining hole(111). The upper side of the water storing container is opened. The water draining hole is formed at the bottom of the water storing space. A fixing part(120) is installed at the lower side of the water storing container, and a water discharging hole is vertically formed at the center of the fixing part. The water discharging hole is in connection with the water draining hole. A branched hole is in connection with the water discharging hole. A terminal part integrated with a sterilizing lamp is combined with the entrance of the water discharging hole to sterilize water introduced in a space between the sterilizing lamp and the water discharging hole.
