摘要

PURPOSE: A defect site estimation apparatus of a cable and a method thereof are provided to presume the exact location of defect by minimizing an error about the estimated position of the defect.;CONSTITUTION: A defect site estimation apparatus comprises a sensor unit(200) and a defect site estimating unit(300). The sensor unit comprises a metal film sensor(201) and ultrasonic sensors(210,220,230). The metal film sensor measures an electric signal which is generated in a cable. The ultrasonic sensors are installed in the cable and measures ultrasonic signals which are generated in the cable. The defect site estimating unit presumes the defect site of the cable using a partial discharge signal measured at in the metal film sensor and a partial discharge signals measured at in the ultrasonic sensors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
