PURPOSE: A method of constructing ecological waterways to purify contaminated water to clear water is provided to naturally purify contaminated water by discharging contaminant along with water.;CONSTITUTION: A method of constructing ecological waterways to purify contaminated water to clear water comprises following steps. A fishway is formed by closing of a waterway depending on the rotation of a first operating rod(55) and a second operating rod(77) or opening of the lower end of the waterway and contaminated water is naturally purified. A water gate(100) makes tight contact with the floor of the waterway to open the waterway to discharge stored water. Clear water, which is relatively heavy, is first discharged and the deposited material of a lower layer is discharged together, thereby purifying contaminated water.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
