PURPOSE: An MEH-O-D PPV copolymer is provided to ensure excellent thermal stability, spectroscopic properties, and light-emitting properties compared with an existing MEH-PPV homopolymer and to enable the use for an organic light-emitting device.;CONSTITUTION: An MEH-O-D PPV copolymer is represented by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the MEH-O-D PPV copolymer comprises a step of preparing a compound of chemical formula 1 by refluxing a compound of chemical formula 2, a compound of chemical formula 3, and 2,7-dibromo-9,9-dioctyl-9H-fluorene in the presence of an organic solvent.
