PURPOSE: A device, for discriminating coagulation of molten steel in a shroud nozzle, and a method for controlling the flow of molten steel are provided to block flow of molten steel into a turndish.;CONSTITUTION: A device, for discriminating coagulation of molten steel in a shroud nozzle, comprises a shroud nozzle, a measurement unit(100), and a judgment unit(200). The shroud nozzle is extended to the tundish from the ladle. The shroud nozzle guides the molten steel from the ladle to the tundish. The measurement unit is installed in the shroud nozzle. The measurement unit measures the temperature of the shroud nozzle. The judgment unit determines the coagulation of the inside molten steel of the shroud nozzle based on the temperature value measured by the measurement unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
