PURPOSE: A walk type lawn mower is provided to prevent a rear shield of the lawn mower from being hung on other members.;CONSTITUTION: A walk type lawn mower comprises: a housing(11) which has an opened bottom and is rotationally receives a blade cutting lawn; a manipulating handle which is expanded rearward from the housing; rear shields(40) of an elastic sheet form which are expanded downward from the rear end of the housing.
