PURPOSE: A method for preparing nitroparaffin is provided to obtain nitroparaffin at high yield while performing the reaction at a low temperature under a normal pressure in nitration and enable the yield control of nitroparaffin according to the selection of a catalyst.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing nitroparaffin comprises a step of nitrifying C2~C40 hydrocarbon-halide and sodium nitrite in a continuous reactor in the presence of one or more solid base catalysts selected from NaOH-MgO, NaOH-ZrO2, NaOH-CaO, KOH-MgO, KOH-ZrO2 and KOH-CaO. The solid base catalyst is prepared by: treating and drying one or more selected from MgO, ZrO2 and CaO with a NaOH solution, a KOH solution, and a mixed solution thereof; and sintering the obtained resultant at 500~1000 °C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
