PURPOSE: A stream encryption and decoding method based on a hash tree and a cryptographic file system are provided to offer fast calculation efficiency by applying the encryption of each block to a stream encryption algorithm.;CONSTITUTION: A root key for a file system encryption is generated. A key tree is formed while a plurality of sub keys is generated from the root key through a hash function. The plurality of the sub keys formed in the key tree and the data blocks formed in the storage of the cryptographic file system are mapped. A cipher text stream is generated by calculating the plurality of sub keys which is mapped with the data blocks and a clear text stream in XOR(Exclusive OR).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
