PURPOSE: A device for controlling tension in a temper-rolling process is provided to enhance production efficiency and ensure high quality product by sensing the tension of a strip in a temper-rolling process, comparing the sensed value with a predetermined reference value for a coil, and controlling the tension of the strip according to the result of the comparison.;CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling tension in a temper-rolling process comprises a tension sensor(50), a looper unit(30), and a control unit(10). The tension sensor senses the tension of a strip. The looper unit increases and decreases the tension of the strip. The control unit compares the value sensed by the tension sensor with a reference range. The control unit controls the looper unit according to the result of comparison. If the sensed value exceeds the reference range then the control unit operates the looper unit to decrease the tension of the strip. If not then the control unit operates the looper unit to increase the tension of the strip.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
