PURPOSE: A probe for detecting ribosomal RNA and a method for detecting pathogenic microorganism using the same are provided to ensure quick and accurate detection. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting microbes comprises: a step of preparing cell lysate containing ribosomal RNA from a test sample; a step of mixing a detecting probe and capturing probe in the cell lysate for hybridization; and a step of confirming hybridization. The detecting probe is labeled with a marker at 5' terminal or 3' terminal. The detecting probe contains a base sequence of sequence number 28. The capturing probe contains a base sequence of sequence number 6. The microbe is E. coli O157:H7. A probe for detecting Listeria monocytogenes contains a base sequence of sequence number 24.
