IPTV SERVICE OVERLAY SESSION MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD IN IPTV SERVICE OVERLAY NETWORK SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: An IPTV service overlay session management apparatus and method in an IPTV service overlay network system are provided to store contents control information and metadata of contents, thereby providing corresponding information in the middle without direct connection to a server of contents provider. CONSTITUTION: A session tree generation control/management unit(212) generates service session through confirmation/analysis results of service information analysis/classification unit(211). A session resource control and management unit(213) controls actual network resource of the IPTV service session with connection to resource control unit(230) of external resource. A contents location/processing information management unit(214) finds best contents sever for session creation to a contents processing information control unit(220) by contents location information and transmission of processing information.
