PURPOSE: A phase calibration method and FMCW radar using a radio interferometer is provided to increase the accuracy of phase alignment.;CONSTITUTION: A transmitting DDS(Direct Digital Synthesis)(202) and a receiving DDS(252) generates a CW(Continuous Wave) or LFM(Linear Frequency Modulation) wave signal in a effective frequency range. An attachable antenna fixing device(218) transmits CW or LFM wave signal from the transmitting DDS. Receiving antennas(254,256) receives the signal from the attachable antenna fixing device. A mixer(204) converts the received signal into a down-shifted frequency based on the CW or LFM wave signal of the receiving DDS.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
