Network storage system for IPTV Set-Top-Box PVR

摘要

PURPOSE: A network storage for an IPTV settop-box PVR is provided to configure an IPTV settop box PVR storage to drastically increase the number of content which can be stored, thereby saving costs and removing a load for additional capacity installation. CONSTITUTION: A storage shape management person(1) manages a used storage region. A network storage server(10) is connected to an IPTV settop box through a wire/wireless online network(20,20'). A user authentication module(2) checks a user who accesses a server based on a DES security algorithm. The first network storage driver(3) controls data transceiving between a storage server an STB based on iSCSI.
