PURPOSE: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is provided to prevent the deterioration of a probe by stopping the operation of a probe when the probe is held on a holding unit.;CONSTITUTION: A probe(120) is connected to a body unit(110). A receiving unit(130) is concavely formed on the body unit to receive the probe. An opening and closing unit(140) includes a sliding member and an opening and closing member. The sliding member is slidably combined with the rail of the body unit. The opening and closing member is comprised of first and second opening and closing members. The first opening and closing member is rotatably combined with the sliding member.
