PURPOSE: A fire escape device is provided, which can minimize upstairs occupant's anxiety and guarantee occupant's safety to the utmost. CONSTITUTION: A fire escape device comprises: a staple shaped hole in which one side is opened to the outside of a building and which communicates with upstairs and downstairs; a fixed plate(25) which is installed in the outside of the building; top and lower covers(21,23) which are hinge-coupled with the fixed plate and opens and closes the opened top and lower portions; a case(3) in which a ladder(5) is installed.
