signal lamp controlling method and appparatus in three-way intersection

PURPOSE: A three way intersection control method and a device thereof are provided to minimize traffic congestion on the three way intersection by guiding the left turn of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A human detection sensor(110) detects a human in a main road pedestrian waiting region and a sub road pedestrian waiting region. A vehicle detecting sensor(120) detects a vehicle in the left turn vehicle waiting region of a main/sub road. A control part(130) lights a sub road pedestrian signal lamp(150), a sub road vehicle signal lamp(160), and a main road pedestrian signal lamp(170) to a red signal. The control part controls the sub road pedestrian signal lamp, the sub road vehicle signal lamp, a main road pedestrian signal lamp, an up line main road vehicle signal lamp(180), and a down line main road vehicle signal lamp(190).
