Device for water proof and stagnant water interception in joints of precast culvert

PURPOSE: A stagnant water blocking device of a joint for a precast culvert is provided to improve durability of a HYDROPHILIC water stop member by forming a water leakage prevention groove. CONSTITUTION: A stagnant water blocking device of a joint for a precast culvert comprises a hydrophilic water stop member(2). The hydrophilic water stop member is installed in joints of precast culverts(1). The hydrophilic water stop member prevents stagnant water from flowing into the culverts, or a water leak. A double-sided tape(3) is installed to cover three edges of the hydrophilic water stop member. When the hydrophilic water stop member is attached on one ends of the culverts by the double-sided tape, water leakage prevention grooves(21) are formed in the other ends of the culverts.
