FAULT CURRENT LIMITER, CAPABLE OF LIMITING THE FAULT CURRENT BY GENERATING THE IMPEDANCE ON THE AC CURRENT LINE

PURPOSE: A fault current limiter is provided to limit the fault current by generating the impedance on the AC current line through the magnetization of the metal core.;CONSTITUTION: A fault current limiter comprises an iron core(10), an alternating current line(20), and a direct current magnet(30). The iron core is magnetized as the short circuit current is induced into the iron core. The magnetization of the iron core generates big impedance in the alternating current line.
