PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for monitoring permanent magnet demagnetization of permanent magnet synchronous motors, and a medium having computer readable program for executing the method are provided, which can diagnose easily a state of the permanent magnet within the permanent magnet synchronous motor. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic field generator(210) generates the magnetic field on the rotor rotary shaft and the perpendicular plane of the electric motor in various directions passing through the rotary shaft. A stator current measuring unit(220) measures the current flowing in a plurality of rotary shaft penetration directions. A diagnosis unit(230) diagnoses the potatoes state of the permanent magnet of the electric motor by using the correspondence of the value of the stator current.
