PURPOSE: A cable for inspecting a heat pipe and an insertion force analyzing method thereof are provided to easily determine the defect of a steam generator by inserting an inspection cable into the heat pipe with a small force.;CONSTITUTION: A cable(5) for inspecting a heat pipe is comprised of a senor unit, segment units(60,70,80,90), a data cable(31), and a wire(41). The sensor unit senses the defect of the heat pipe. The plurality of segment units have a body part and a wheel part. The data cable transmits information sensed by the sensor unit.
