WIRELESS DIMMING POWER SAVING TYPE STREET LIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR REMOTE CONTROLED STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A wireless dimming power saving streetlight for a remote control streetlight system is provided to reduce power consumption by properly controlling the illumination of a streetlight according to a peripheral situation. CONSTITUTION: The output power of an electronic ballast(45) is controlled by a DC output voltage controller. The illumination of a high intensity discharge lamp(55) is control by the output power of the electronic ballast. A wireless dimming controller(65) controls the illumination and the on/off of the high intensity discharge lamp according to the control signal of a streetlight controller(30). The wireless dimming controller includes a communication unit and a status information collector. The communication unit performs the two-way radio communication. The status information collector collects the status information of the electronic ballast and the high intensity discharge lamp.
