PURPOSE: A granularity classifier and a classification method are provided to exactly classify inside the granularity classifier by separating an ore sinter on a conveyor belt according to the granularity. CONSTITUTION: A classifier comprises a belt conveyor(20) and a granularity classifier. The belt conveyor comprises a carrying roller(26) and a supporting frame(23). The carrying roller vibrates a conveyor belt(22) loading ore sinters upward and downward. The carrying roller is installed in the supporting frame. The granularity classifier comprises a classification housing, a classification damper and inserting chutes. The classification housing shields the rear part of the belt conveyor. The classification damper separates the ore sinters from the belt conveyor according to the granularity by installing inside the classification housing. The insertion chutes are connected with storing tubs to store the separated ore sinters by installing under the classification housing. Thereby, the heat efficiency is increased by stabilizing the flow of gas inside a furnace and by concentrating the flow in the center.
