Data Protection Method and Apparatus for SCADA Network Based on MODBUS Protocol

PURPOSE: A method for protecting data of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) network for an MODBUS based industry and a device thereof are provided to prevent information leakage due to hacking. CONSTITUTION: An RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) communication device(140) processes transceiving of data according to an MODBUS standard for communication with an RTU side lower system. A server communicating device(150) processes transceiving of data according to an MODBUS standard for communication with a high system. A security device(120) decodes encoded measurement data. A monitoring and controlling device(130) monitors receiving of the encoded measurement data at normal speed.
