PURPOSE: A medicinal herb extracting machine is provided to increase medicinal liquid distillation speed by increasing the firepower of a heating pot depending on the kind of medicinal herbs. CONSTITUTION: A medicinal herb extracting machine comprises a plate-shaped heat exchanger(12). The plate-shaped heat exchanger is installed between a medicinal steam outlet pipe(11) and a medicinal distillate inlet pipe(15). Unit flat tubes(13) are horizontally piled up on the heat exchanger. The medicinal steam outlet pipe is connected to the top of the piled structure of the unit flat tubes, and the distillate inlet pipe is connected to the bottom of the piled structure.
