A WALE SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING EARTH RETAINING WALL

PURPOSE: A wale for supporting an earth retaining wall is provided to ensure improved durability by employing stress supporting plates and stress dispersion plates which are arranged in a grid form within an H beam. CONSTITUTION: A wale for supporting an earth retaining wall comprises an H beam(10), a grid block(20), and left and right brackets(30,30'). The grid block is formed within the H beam by coupling stress supporting plates(22), which contact upper and lower flanges(14,14') are formed on both sides of a web(12) of the H beam and arranged in the longitudinal direction, with stress dispersion plates(24), which are arranged across the central part of the stress supporting plates. The parts of the stress supporting plates and the stress dispersion plates that intersect each other and contact the upper and lower flanges are welded together. The left and right brackets are coupled to the middle portion of the H beam and a cable(32) is interconnected between the brackets.
