DIELECTRIC LOADED HORN AND DUAL REFLECTOR ANTENNA USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A dielectric loaded horn and a double reflector antenna thereof are provided to reduce a wind pressure contact area by forming a main reflector with a rhomboid metal lath mesh. CONSTITUTION: A main reflector(10) has a dish shape. A circular waveguide(30) is projected in a frontward of the concave surface after passing through the center of the main reflector. A dielectric loaded horn(40) radiates a transmission power feed signal. A part of the dielectric loaded horn is inserted into the end part of the circular waveguide. A sub reflector(20) is connected to the front end part of the circular waveguide through an insulator supporting member. A sub reflector reflects a transmission signal of the dielectric loading horn to the main reflector.
