P2P overlay network architecture and method of managing P2P overlay network

PURPOSE: A p2p overlay network architecture and a method of managing p2p overlay network is provided to increase service consistency by minimizing the failure of data delivery due to withdrawal of peer. CONSTITUTION: A source peer is a source of media streaming data. Groups have a plurality of peers as member. The source peer is used as a root node to build the groups into a tree structure. The source peer divides data segment into multiple pieces and transmits to the peer which has established a connection with source peer.
