A method of preparing a silver-containing hydroxyapatite catalyst is provided to manufacture a selective catalytic of high efficiency and to control the amount of added silver conveniently. A method of preparing a silver-containing hydroxyapatite catalyst comprise a step for synthesizing HAp(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) by reacting a Ca(NO3)2 solution and (NH4)2HPO4, and a step for drying and heating filtered precipitates after precipitating a material by mixing the Ca(NO3)2 solution and the (NH4)2HPO4. A step for precipitating the material includes a drying and heat-treatment process of a compound with an AgNO3 solution.
