PURPOSE: A method for preparing an oxynitride-based fluorescent substance is provided to prepare an oxynitride-based fluorescent substance with excellent light-emitting property at a relatively low temperature without additional fluxing agents.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an oxynitride-based fluorescent substance represented by chemical formula 1: M_aSi_2O_2N_2:Eu_ comprises the steps of: forming a precipitate by dropping Si3N4 dispersion in which ammonium-based precipitation agent, into a cationic solution in which alkaline-earth metal salts and europium salts are dissolved, and filtering and drying the precipitate, to prepare a fluorescent substance precursor in which europium is precipitated on the surface of Si3N4 particles; and heat-treating the fluorescent substance precursor at 800~1500 °C in a reduced gas atmosphere.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
