PURPOSE: A fast copy device for a storage device and a method thereof are provided to minimize update or upgrade of a copy device due to a change of an operating system or a file system, thereby easily and inexpensively copying data. CONSTITUTION: A circuit unit includes a digital signal processor(180). A source connection terminal connects the circuit unit with a source storage device(10). A target connection terminal is exposed to the outside of a case. The target connection terminal connects the circuit unit with target storage devices(90).
