Routing method for extending lifetime of sensor networks

PURPOSE: A time synchronization method for extending a lifetime of a sensor network is provided to minimize the energy consumption in a time synchronization of sensor nodes. CONSTITUTION: A reference node and a basis node perform a time synchronization through a hand shaking(S100). The reference node broadcasts the time-stamped time synchronization message. The reference node synchronizes the time information of the receiving nodes within a single hop(S102). The reference node once more broadcasts the time synchronization message. The reference node synchronizes the time information of the receiving nodes within the single-hop(S104).
