Mobile node leading handover method based on channel load and hop count

摘要

PURPOSE: A mobile node handover method based on the number of hops and channel load for improving handover performance between a mesh AP and a mobile node is provided to perform handover by selecting the mesh AP in a mesh network with a multi hop property. CONSTITUTION: An intersection of mesh AP(Access Points)(20a-20c) is calculated. If the difference value between the SNR value of the mesh AP within the intersection and the SNR value of the mesh AP connected to a mobile node(10) is greater than a first critical value, the mesh AP is added on a handover candidate list. If the addiction of the handover candidate list is complete, handover is performed to the mesh AP to the mesh AP which has the greatest SNR value.
