PURPOSE: A frequency synchronization method using a combination of pilots which are separated by the distance between the same samples in an OFDM system and device thereof are provided to enhance frequency synchronization performance using the sample distance between a continuous pilot and an adjacent dispersion pilot in one OFDM symbol. CONSTITUTION: An OFDM signal received in a receiving terminal is transformed by the fast Fourier transform(S301). At least one OFDM symbol is continuous by time delay(S303). The correlation value of a continuous pilot and a dispersion pilot in the OFDM symbol is calculated(S305). A final integer frequency offset is estimated based on the correlation value(S307).
