PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing housing environment information in a home networking system are provided to prevent over heating or over cooling. CONSTITUTION: A home terminal controller transmits searched usage amount information per energy item. A display controller(380) switches off power to a display unit(340) by a display control signal of the home terminal controller. A device controller(390) switches off operations of devices of a house by a device control signal of the home terminal controller through a device connection unit(370).
