PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a human body insertion type poly vinyl alcohol sponge is provided to remove a sponge without the pain of a patient after use of the sponge. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a human body insertion type poly vinyl alcohol sponge comprises: a step(S300) of forming a film on the upper and lower surfaces and lateral surface of PVA sponge; a step(S400) of removing a constant area of both sides of the PVA sponge; and a step(S500) of compressing the PVA sponge. The PVA film is formed so that a partial area thereof can be exposed to the outside.
