PURPOSE: An environment-friendly color wave-dissipating coastal block using fiberglass reinforced plastic concrete and a construction method using the same are provided to supplement the durability of a structure manufactured with concrete material, to dissipate waves effectively, to resist the breakdown of a structure and to execute maintenance work easily, and to harmonize with the surroundings by using various colors. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly color wave-dissipating coastal block using fiberglass reinforced plastic concrete is formed by forming a coupling projection(11) for coupling with another block on one side, forming a coupling groove(12) for coupling with another block on the other side, and placing concrete in a block frame made of FRP(fiberglass reinforced plastic) and provided with a curved surface for dissipating waves on the surface abutting on waves of the coast.
