Network based global mobility providing system and method in next generation network environment

PURPOSE: A global mobility providing system based on a next generation network and a method thereof are provided to integrally manage information of a mobile node in a core network area, thereby realizing continuous service use despite broad or local handoff in the mobile node. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal approaches a network through an access network(S10). Location information of the mobile terminal is checked by an MAG(Mobile Access Gateway) and an HCA(Handover Control Agent). The location information of the mobile terminal is registered by the MAG, the HCA, and an MICS(Mobile Information Control Server)(S30). Tunnel setup for packet transmission is performed by tunneling to the mobile terminal(S40). Connected nodes exchange data each other(S50).
