PURPOSE: A global positioning system using a Zigbee base wireless sensor network is provided to increase the accuracy of distance measurement and to accurately recognize the location of a moving body within a building in a shadow area. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of beacon nodes(110) transmits a radio frequency signal including an identification symbol. A mobile node(120) is installed within a shadow area in the moving body. The mobile node measures an RSS(Received Signal Strength) through an RF signal. A synchronizing node(140) receives the RSS value. A location recognition unit(150) respectively calculates the mobile node and a beacon node. The location recognition unit recognizes the location of the moving body through the calculated distance.
