CONSTITUTION: A pier construction method for expansion using an oscillator on the expanding of a bridge upper part is as follows. The position of a pier for expansion is set around an existing pier. A work line(10) is set on the water depending on the set position of the pier. A steel pipe(20) is inserted into the water at the set work line using an oscillator(3). Soil inside the steel pipe is excavated. A steel net(21) is arranged inside the steel pipe. The excavated part is filled with a filling material.
