Hot Rolling Process Equipment and Hot Rolling Method for Shape Correction of Hot Rolled Steel Sheets

PURPOSE: A hot rolling apparatus and method for leveling a steel strip is provided to rapidly correct faults due to nonuniform cooling rate of the width of the steel strip during the hot state, thereby preventing permanent deformation. CONSTITUTION: A hot rolling apparatus comprises a rolling part(100), a cooling part(200), a temperature sensing part(210a~210f), a winding device(300), a calibrator(400), and a shape correcting controller(500). The winding device reels a cooled hot-rolled steel strip. The calibrator is arranged between the cooling part and the winding device and adjusts a rolling roll according to a control signal in order to roll the cooled hot-rolled steel strip again. The shape correcting controller generates a shape correction control signal using the difference between a reference temperature distribution with the measured temperature distribution of width direction.
