PURPOSE: A method for predicting the material characteristic of cold-rolled products consisting of austenite stainless steel is provided to predict the material of front and rear strips and to be applied to a mechanical property prediction model equation by reflecting the annealing history of a cold rolled strip to a grain growth model equation. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting the material characteristic of cold-rolled products consisting of austenite stainless steel comprises following steps. Yield strength is predicted by using a program module in a cold-rolled continuous annealing-pickling process. A cold-rolled products consisting of austenite stainless steel is composed of C 0.15 weight% or less, Si 0.6 weight% or less, Mn 5.0 weight% or less, P 0.04weight% or less, S 0.03weight% or less, Cr 12.0~20.0weight%, Ni 4.0~10 weight%, Cu 3.5 weight% or less, Mo 5.0weight% or less, N 0.06 weight% or less, and the rest consisting of Fe and impurities.
