PURPOSE: A wireless transmission system based on bidirectional optical fiber is provided to reduce the load about an operation speed in designing a semiconductor optical amplifier by using a harmonic frequency. CONSTITUTION: A data modulation unit(110) modulates an optical object signal to anoptical signal for DL transmission. A first optical circulator(120) outputs the optical signal for the DL transmission to a DL transmission port or outputs an optical signal for UL transmission to the UL transmission port. A data restoration unit(130) restores a UL transmission data signal. According to a sub harmonic frequency, a harmonic generator(140) generates the optical signal for UL transmission or a frequency of the optical signal for the UL transmission and corresponding harmonic wave.
