PURPOSE: A power source and a volume adjusting apparatus are provided to improve product stability by preventing the inflow such as dust to the inside of a case through a slot.;CONSTITUTION: A power source and a volume adjusting apparatus comprises a case(11), a guide member(13), a transport member(15), a transport knob, a variable resistance(17), and a controller. The guide member is fixed to the case. A guide groove is inserted in the guide member. The transport member is transferred there and back to a straight direction according to the guide member. The transport knob is included in the transport member and is exposed to outside. The variable resistance in which a resistance value is changed according to transfer of a transport member is included inside of the case.
